Pugs not drugs

Sorry I didn’t blog yesterday you guys, I had to go to the vet again! I guess my infection just isn’t clearing up, so they put me on some more drugs so hopefully that will help! I’m a bit high in the puggy sky right now, but my human knows just how to cheer me up…
…with a walk of course!

Today I went on my first ever trail walk and it was so much fun! There was lots of smells to smell and adventures to be had, that was, of course, until Millie decided to go feral.

She likes to run around, natural for a dog, right?

Wrong.

Any strange noise or smell will set her off, hence why she has to wear the rope. And this walk was no exception. As we were nearing the end of the walk, there were two doggies. And not just any doggies, these doggies were almost as high as I am right now…except they weren’t on drugs.

They were on a balcony.
Millie barked and barked and barked, and ran all over the garden. My human finally got her to stop but not until after she had successfully ripped no less than seven plants from the other dog’s garden.
So the moral of this story? Even when my poor little body is loaded with lots of medicine, I’m still better than my sister.
Ha. Pugs rule.

Rule Britannia

Well you guys might not know this, but my human is British, so of course the royal wedding was of great delight! My mummy’s mummy, Anna, had a big party with her friends while my human was at school and they all watched the wedding (in their wedding dresses), drank champagne, and ate wedding cake, but obviously I was the center of attention!

That's me with Anna in the middle!

Now what’s another thing that all Brits love?

Harry Potter!

During my illness, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part One came out on DVD and a few things were decided…

Murphy looks like Dumbledore...
Millie looks like Dobby...

And I look like Voldemort, apparently because I have no nose!

Princess and the pee

Oh my goodness, you guys! It’s been two weeks! TWO WEEKS! I cannot believe I’ve been away from you guys for two whole weeks! But I do have an excuse, I’ve been very sick.
It’s a bit private though, but I know I can trust you! You’re good at keeping secrets, right?!

Of course!

So I’ve had a urine infection!

Gasp!

I know!

Anyway, I’m so excited to hear about all your adventures while I’ve been away! Check out everything I’ve been doing and make sure to let me know what you’ve been up to!

 I went into Seattle!

 I met another pug!

 I tackled BubbleWrap!

And I discovered the joys of tennis balls!

Ellie, M.D.

Today was yet another exciting day in my land of pug! Well, everyday is an exciting day, but today was especially exciting, because, I went to the doggie doctor!

Now I know what you all are thinking, why on earth would you be excited about the vet?! Well, I’ll give you a little hint; its three letters, one syllable, and rhymes with meat. That’s right.

TREAT!

So although I got penetrated by a thermometer, got placed on a high table, pricked with a needle, and had to confront my weight, the vet really isn’t a bad place after all! Unlimited amounts of food?! Now that’s what I call an exciting adventure!

I weigh 5.5 pounds, maybe it's time to cut back on those Milkbones?

Mission accomplished

I must apologize for the human, aka the thumbs who makes this blog possible, because she did not post anything about my adventures yesterday! And yesterday was a big day! After many (failed) attempts to get on the so-called “bed,” ladies and gentlemen…

I did it!

That’s right! My human must have felt so bad for my short, stubby legs, that she used those thumbs for another purpose, other than writing this fabulous blog, to lift me up! Now I never want to go back downstairs to sleep in my own bed at night! Why would I want to?! I have my brother and sister there, plus my human! Serious snuggle time! Now I understand why Murph and Millie always want to sleep there!

Pug of war

No luck on figuring out what’s on the “bed” yet, but not to worry! I still kept myself very busy today anyway! I came up with a new game: Pug of War!

Here are the rules:
1.    Find a dog with a rope attached to his/her necklace (i.e. collar), like my sister Millie. She has to wear one because she runs away into the woods, which, come on, is GENIUS! Its super cool in there! Anyway…
2.    Hold onto the rope with teeth!
3.    PULL, PULL, PULL!

It’s pretty simple! I hope you all have as much fun playing it as I do!

What's up?

Oh my goodness, you guys! There’s a mystery in my humans room, and detective Ellie is on the case!

Let me break it down for you: So my doggie brother Murph and sister Millie always go on a thing called a “bed.” I don’t know why they’re always so excited about it! I mean they jump up on the “bed” when it’s sleepy time! Well first off, there is no such thing as sleepy time in my world! In my opinion, we should always be awake! There are so many things that need to be eaten and explored! Second off, the word “bed” can’t be a good thing! That’s where you get sent when you’re in trouble!

So now I need to discover why they want to keep going up there! What’s so exciting?! Is there treats? Toys? What is it?!

Finding out what’s up there is only part one of the problem, the second part is the fact that I’m, um, short! I can’t make it up! How am I supposed to find out what’s on the bed?!

If you have any ideas, let me know! And wish me luck!
